Ben Stanfield MREC CertRP – Team Leader, Southampton
Ben is an experienced Account Manager who joined Preferred IT in January 2001. Ben has strong knowledge in all aspects of recruitment from candidate and client care to contractor management as well as European laws, legislation and customs and has successfully resourced candidates for clients in Europe, the Middle East and the United States of America.
Ben’s main experience lies within International Telecommunications, Utilities and Local Government. Within these industry’s he has specialised in resourcing positions across all project levels.
The technological areas within which Ben recruits includes Voice (Cisco, Avaya), Networking (LAN, WAN, IP Telephony, MPLS, ADSL/DSL) and Security (CISSP). Ben has also developed strong relationships with a home-grown portfolio of Cisco accredited Consultants (ranging from CCNA to CCIE Routing & Switching/CCIE Security) and has had a large number of Voice/Avaya accredited Consultants and Project Managers working on large European IP Telephony projects over the last 2 years.

Jo Spring MREC CertRP – Recruitment Consultant, Southampton
A BA (Hons) graduate, Jo spent five years building a career in digital publishing and sales before joining Preferred IT in 2003. Jo is an award-winning recruitment consultant with over four years' experience in all aspects of recruitment from client and candidate service to contractor management.
Jo is client focused and service driven, managing accounts within diverse industry sectors including major blue chips and SME’s. Jo resources permanent and contract IT specialists, with a broad range of skills across the complete software development lifecycle with a variety of technologies including C#, Lotus Notes, Java and .Net.

Rob Stockbridge MREC CertRP – Business Systems Manager, Southampton
Rob joined Preferred with a degree in law from Cardiff University and a background in sales and customer service. Due to Rob’s dedication to his role, his passion for recruitment and his commitment to the company Rob has progressed to the role of Business Systems Manager and now sits on the Senior Management team.

Anita Brooks MREC CertRP - Account Manager, Leeds
Anita joined Preferred in 2006 after graduating from Leeds University. An affiliated member of the CIPD she works to best practice resolving genuine resource challenges for clients within the IT services sector.
Anita manages a mutually beneficial, recruitment partnership model as a Managed Service Provider, delivering improvements in three key recruitment areas: Quality, Delivery and Cost. Through this tailored service, Anita delivers her client’s medium to long-term staffing strategy, manages entire processes, services and projects on their behalf, implements innovative approaches to resourcing new projects and at the same time, reduces costs.
Anita manages and audits all IT contractors on site, as well as assessing and producing comprehensive job descriptions and workflows/ information packages for contractors. Regular remuneration bench marking is also undertaken to ensure that all parties are being competitive.

Gemma Baxter – HR and Quality Administrator
Gemma joined the Southampton team in 2007. She brings to the company over 5 years' experience in Administration and is responsible for streamlining back office workflow and HR/Quality Administration.
