Recruitment Consultant/New Business Development Consultant - Leeds and Southampton

With commercial experience of B2B sales, preferably in a recruitment or services sales environment, you will have proven skills in identifying and closing business opportunities. 

We offer our New Business people two options. 

1) You can open new business and then develop the relationship with these clients and work with them to design and deliver their recruitment requirements

or

2) You can open new business and then pass on the delivery of that business to a suitably qualified and trained Account Manager who will develop the relationship -  leaving you free to go out and win more clients.  We are happy to accommodate whichever route is most suited to your abilities and both these routes are very well rewarded.

Recruitment Resourcers - Southampton and Leeds

As a Recruitment Resourcer you will support the daily and ongoing activities of Account Managers and Recruitment Consultants in recruitment of Permanent and Contract staff for our customers.  You will train in all areas of recruitment resourcing processes gaining experience and knowledge – this is an excellent start to a career in recruitment. 

By using internet job boards, writing adverts and networking with people you will source and attract high calibre candidates for clients.  You will screen candidates on the telephone to provide short lists for clients specific vacancies.  You will be required to support the interview process as required by Account Managers and Consultants and manage the candidate’s expectations as you help them secure their next career move. 

In this role you must ensure that appropriate administration (both manual and system) is completed and to provide accurate records of activity in line with legislation.

Excellent basic salary, commission and bonuses.  Generous training budget and full induction training provided.

Principal Resourcer – Southampton Office

To provide expert level resourcing services to the Sales function of Preferred IT and support the Delivery Team Manager in the effective delivery of team KPIs and targets. This role holds both Resourcer and Principal responsibilities. 

  • To provide expert level resourcing services to the sales function of Preferred IT. 
  •  Attend all training sessions as required, request further training where necessary. 
  • To meet and exceed individual resourcing targets set. 
  • To professionally promote the company and all products at all times. 
  • To support the Delivery Team Manager in the effective delivery of team KPIs and targets. 
  • To provide guidance and support to less experienced team members. 
  •  To deputise for the Delivery Team manager in his absence. 
  • To provide other services as directed.
  • To be successful in this role you must be a clear communicator, tenacious and resilient and be able to prioritise your time and tasks.  

You must also be target focused, customer facing and well motivated.

The successful candidate could be of graduate caliber.  You should demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn about IT technologies and industry and be able to demonstrate use of Microsoft Excel.

You must have had previous recruitment resourcing experience to apply for this role and it is desirable that you have a self-sufficient independent work ethic.  Some previous sales experience and experience of working within a target driven environment.

Account Manager – Southampton Office

  • To successfully place qualified candidates within permanent employment for assigned clients. 
  • To act as a point of contact responding to recruitment needs of external customers. 
  • To fully utilise all available resources to source and attract high calibre candidates for assigned clients. 
  • To manage the day to day business relationships with assigned clients to maximise revenue.
  • To add value by screening candidates to provide short lists for clients specific vacancies. 
  • To support the interview process providing appropriate feedback and guidance between all parties. 
  • To manage candidates and clients expectations and through the entire hiring process to satisfactory conclusion. 
  • To ensure that appropriate administration (both manual and system) is completed and to provide accurate records of activity in line with Employment Agency Act legislation. 
  • To create and maintain management information and data/statistical analysis.

To be successful in this role you must be a clear communicator, tenacious and resilient and be able to prioritise your time and tasks. You must also be target focused, customer facing and well motivated.  You must hold a full driving licence for this role.  The successful candidate could be of graduate caliber.  You should demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn about IT technologies and industry.  You must have had some previous sales/ account management experience to apply for this role and it is desirable that you have had previous recruitment experience.  You should have a self-sufficient independent work ethic and have experience of working within a target driven environment.
